Does anyone on here have any experience/advice for purchasing/leasing/renting rug washing machines for a livery yard?
We have 30 horses and are currently spending around £2,000 per annum on rug washing and re-proofing externally.

We have the space, three phase electric and water supply (hot and cold). Any recommendations, personal experiences gratefully received.
 
Have you looked at hotel /industrial washing machines? I have given up getting my rugs (only turnout now, no stable rugs) as I find it easier and cheaper to hose with just water, scrub mud off with a brush and leave to dry outside on fence now, it also saves on reproofing....
 
It's not an industrial machine, but I have a Zanussi 9kg washing machine, which quite happily has just washed my mares 6'6" heavyweight turnout rug, with room to spare. They also do a 10kg drum machine.

I can't comment on longevity of the product as only had it a few months, but been really pleased with it, especially for the price it was :)
