Rugging horses in summer?

Got a sheet on my cob atm but then again he is clipped out and it’s persisting down

Mine have all got lightweight sheets on tonight. My Appy practically lives in his waterproof fly sheet unless it's ridiculously hot. It has UV protection to stop him from burning too so a very useful rug. Do what is right for your horse - they are all different.

It's cold!! I've put an extra blanket back on my bed. It's absurd.

Currently sleeping with two duvets, a quilt and a blanket - still shivering!

Honestly, do whats right for you. I have a big ID and he hates getting wet, he is a missery guts until you put a sheet on and then he is happy as can be, its hilarious! I cut the neck off a PE stay dry. Wet neck he can cope with (snow on the neck, totally differnt story!!)
