Has anyone got one of the Snuggy Hood type Ruggles hoods?
I have a zip snuggy hood which is a life saver with a grey horse and little time, It gets dirty though so I wanted a second to wash and wear as although i can just about get it washed and dried over night if the heating is on often i fail!
I purchased a pull on in the sale but absolutely no chance of getting it over his head. If he were smaller I may have perservered but he's too big and really wasn't a fan! So thats being returned.
I don't want to pay full price for one and they have zipped back in stock but are about £90 odd.
There is a horse on the yard where i work who has the Ruggles one. Initially I was quite impressed. It feels much the same and fits her really nicely, never moves. However she gets very little turnout and mine is a hard core out every day what ever the weather. There may be a big difference between being used for an hour here and there and heavy use.
They are half the price. I have some money in my ebay account and could have one for "free"
Any Good?
