so Levi is on the way up again!
so much for stopping at 16'1 ! he is 6 in April!

any way! he is now out grown most of his 6'3 rugs and stepping in to 6'6
which is fine as a friend has some 6'6 rugs she is letting us use

but as i am now selling my 6'3 rugs i am at the point where i wonder when he does finally stop growing !

what rugs would you buy? like brand wise?

price is not important but! must be combos, standard and detachable necks rub him (his neck will bleed!)

so what do you guys choose and why?

by the way he is a TB if that helps?
 
awww welcome to my world! Sam was 6 foot when I got him, he's now a 6'9 and to be honest I think he'll be 7' by next year! he's quite chunky for a connie x tb but until I know what size he's going to stop at he will have weatherbeeta genero's, they are usually on sale in Robinsons and fit him nicely! they stay waterproof and by the time the winters over he tends to be up to the next size so I just bin them, so save in case I need spare straps etc! he's also go a shires 100g rug, but hasn't needed to wear that very much yet!
 
I remember the day when my boy was 5,6...!
He is now 6,3.

Until I knew "FOR SURE" he had stopped growing he got Derby house rugs mostly as they were a good fit at the time and decent quality and price! Still like the DH rugs, if your wanting something more durable and "nicer" a love a nice weatherbeeta combo :)
 
Until you're absolutely certain he's not going to grow anymore (and not bulk out a lot more with muscle!) then I would buy Saxon/Weatherbeeta/Derby House etc so you won't feel frustrated when you have to buy another lot!
