I have been mucking out my horse stuff and have some rugs (don't fit M) with life in them yet and lead ropes etc.

Does anyone know if rescue charities want this sort of thing? I'll have the rugs washed etc (mostly 6'3" Rambos).

Thankies!:)

Canterbury Horse Rescue in Kent are always desperate for stuff

Thanks, all! Maybe I can send some to each? It's not much, but I would hate to throw stuff away that might keep a body warm and comfy :)

There will definitely be some charity (or charities) delighted to receive them. I had two 5'6" rugs (my boy is 5'9"), so I gave them to a local person who was fostering for the charity, and they were delighted to get them, so it doesn't matter if it's not much.

I think its a great idea, no point throwing them away if they could be useful for someone else.

On a slightly different note I have some cat items (beds, toys, bowls) that I need to get rid of, do you think a small animal charity would have them? OH said chuck them as (mainly the beds) are a bit hairy!
