Hi there. Can anyone recommend rugs which are particularly suitable for the friesian shape? I have a 4 year old cross and I just can't find any rugs that suit his shape.
I've got a rhino which fits nice as a standard neck but the neck covers that come with them just don't go anywhere near, he's has the typical friesian neck and his shoulder is deep but his chest is quite narrow. I've tried a wug which fits ok as long as I don't attach the top clip.
I've tried WBs they just seem to sit wrong on his chest area, making the rug drop back on his wither and move a lot on his shoulders as he walks. I've also tried Funnell, Axiom, Amigo and Mark Todd of those I think the Axiom probably fit the best.
If need be he'll have to manage without a neck cover, but the TB part of him just does not like getting wet and I would feel happier if I could get a full neck rug, especially as he's been really poorly lately.
Any help appreciated.
