What can you guys suggest?

I need new turnout rugs (don't bother with stable rugs) for the new horse. Size is 6ft, he's got a short chunky neck but quite small around his shoulders. I have a JHL for him but it's really too wide/big around the shoulders/base of neck. My big horse has all PE, JHL and Amigo - I love PE rugs but don't think they'll suit this pony. The slight sticking point... I want all of them to have detachable necks, I really dislike full neck rugs. And I don't like Amigo anymore, though I do think the shape will fit him. I don't think Amigo are anywhere near such good quality as they used to be.

So... what about Weatherbeeta and Masta? Can I get something around a 50-75g with detachable neck and a 200g-ish with detachable neck in those brands?

Thanks :)

Try Masta first. Weatherbeeta have generous shoulders - which are great on my lad, but sound like they won't fit yours as well.

I don't know too much about Masta - other than that they are too narrow on the shoulders for us!

Have you tried other Horseware rugs? The Rhino rugs seem to be the same cut/fit as the Rambo, and they're very good quality, but not as expensive. As far as I know they have the liner system (except the high neck rug) and detachable neck covers.

Shires - I have both a Stormbreaker and a Typhoon and the typhoon in particular will adjust to fit both a narrow shouldered horse and a bigger shouldered horse.
