rugs off today?

well took off my horses rug today, and give him a lovely well deserved spring groom, mane and tail all trimmed and general wash and shine. but now weather says its going to be frost tonight, but good tomorrow. hope he doesnt get a chilll. he seems happy, just worried about frost ect tonight for 1st night with no coat.

what do you all think, i know its time for rugs to be off just worried about the 1st night.

thanks, just worrying, he will get a chill. but at least it gives it to be nice tomorrow.

my chap (hunter clipped beginning Dec) has been naked in the day for a while and is now full time naked ! seems more than happy.

Mare (not clipped) has been naked a while.

thanks, its more because i washed him, that coat is open to a chill. but i am glad rugs are off, was just worried when came home and weather on tv said tonight is to change cold and frost. he will be fine, im just being silly, thanks for reasuring me.

just wondering, who is using light weight rugs. i havent any, but just wondering april can be nippy or very very wet, also my horse is a mug monster so even to keep him clean, what are the fly rugs like, they would keep clean and not have to waste much fly spray also cool on horse, might get a light weight to throw on and off. incase weather is bad. what do you do, thanks
