Rugs stolen from horses-nr stamford

Went up to check the horses this morning and was horrified to find that somebody had been overnight and stolen rugs off our 2 horses. What sort of person would leave 2 clipped horses without rugs in sub zero temperatures? This has been reported to the police. The description of the rugs is
1.Rambo Duo 6'6" (with neck) navy blue with heavyweight lining attached. Only been worn for 2 days so as new.
2. Bucas Power Turnout 6' (with neck) silvery grey. Good condition but dirty.
3. Black fleece underblanket 6'.
Any info greatly received and if you are in the South Lincs/North Cambs area be extra vigilant.

That is awful - I hope your horses are ok and you have some rugs for them. I don't suppose you will get them back.

I do rug cleaning and cover that area so will keep my out for you.

Please do paint your postcode on replacement rugs
Make them unsaleable/stand out as the thieves could well return knowing you will replace them

That's despicable. Definitely agree about marking your replacement rugs, anything to at least try to deter the thieving barstewards.
