I've got three rugs - Bucas stable, Castle Lightweight and Amigo Lightweight. Love the Bucas the best as it's great quality and looks very smart!

i think i have all of the rugs on the list i have 37 rugs for just one horse (used to have 2 the same size) some of them are ripped but most are ok but i do like my rambo but it unfortunately too small, my other horse has 4 so i have 41 rugs all together... whoaa i need to get rid of some haha hmmm dont think i need 4 medium combo turnouts in the same size some how :o

:o I go a bit mad buying rugs!! I have over 25 in total!!

... Although having that many rugs did come in handy, as when my mum bought her horse (who came with no rugs) I just split mine in half!! They now have 12 or 13 each!! That should do :D

I have only had my cob 5 weeks and she had 9 rugs within the first 2 weeks! how do you cope?

I only buy good quality rugs! My mum has had her rugs 15+ years as she spends a bit on them and then gets them cleaned and patched up when needed. A friend of mine has Rhinegold? (I think) and was so pleased at how cheap, but only lasted 3 months of winter! Not an attack on Rhinegold, I'm sure it was partly bad luck, but still...

I find that amigo do not fit my maxi cob as they do not fit round her front! does any one know of any amigo chest expanders and are they any good?

Horseware (I have 1 Rambo Duo, 5 Rhino wugs and 3 Amigos)

Bucas (2 Smartex Rain and 1 Irish)

Dominick (my recent ebay bargain is wonderful! :) ).

We have maybe 30 rugs between three horses but only really use 10 of them regularly. Welshie is naked most of the time (occasionally has her lw on), Toby only uses three (no-fill, 70g and 200g) and my TB probably five (no-fill, 150g, 200g, 300g and fleece). They all live out most of the time. They come in occasionally if the weather is bad and we do have a couple of stable rugs but TBH we don't really use them - they're either naked or have their turnouts left on.

We have a few different makes but they're mostly Weatherbeeta as they're not too expensive initially and last fairly well. They also fit our lot nicely. I do like Rambo rugs but can't really justify spending £150+ on a rug when one half the price will do just as well..

Hmmm I dont really have a favorite brand. Mine are either Shires or Amigo but I have just bought a new weatherbeeta so il report back later when I try it on her :D Amigos dont fit my ISH either, the fronts to narrow as she has a huge shoulder. The front of the amigo where the buckles attach have ripped at both sides  It fitted my little Tb well though.

My favourite rug is not on your poll...........Fal - brilliant rugs.

I also have Amigos, Mark Todd, Masta and Shires - I have far too many and I'm not going to count them. I'm embarressed to say that some I don't even use

No offence intended so does anyone mind if I print this thread out to wave around defensively next time I'm accused of excess at having eight for one horse - and some of those eight having been my old boy's?! :D

Horseware is my favourite - I have everything from Amigo 1200D no fill turnout, a few rhinos and a couple of heavyweight rambos. Also like (the older) fal rugs and have a lw and mw. My horse will trash anything that isn't horseware or fal

Stable rugs I am not so fussy about; have a Bucas, a Saxon and an ancient Robinsons own brand.

Did use Amigo to start with as these fit my boy ok but found he would destroy these lol

I use Masta now as they fit my Arab just right and are good quality (well he hasn't destroyed these yet!)

MT because nothing else fits my blasted animals. I have quite a lot - but mostly because I have a number of outgrown rugs, a few partially destroyed rugs (e.g. one I bought at the same time as J, 12 years ago) which I cannibalise as necessary. I have 3-ish decent turnouts for each of the clipped horses - two rain sheets and a light-mid weight. I also have a few stable rugs each. They live out, but I use the stable rugs as under rugs when it's cold.

Youngest pony doesn't have any - not clipped. But if you're counting summer sheets, fleeces, thermatexes etc, I shudder to think what the final count would be

You missed out Premier Equine, they are my faves now, wouldn't go past them.
My girl has
2 flysheets
2 fleeces
1 hw stable
1 lw stable
2 rainsheets (no fill)
1 150g
1 200g
2 250g
1 350g with neck cover
1 350g no neck cover
1 450g
they are a mixture, not just pe.
bit shocked that I have 15 rugs for 1 horse! never counted them up before. SOme were bought when I got her 8 and half years ago, she has never trashed a rug!

I dont like Amigos but DO like the Rambo Supreme. Why are Amigo and Rambo lumped together

I also like and own Fal, Bucas and Premier Equine rugs so wasn't able to select anything on the list :(

My t/o rugs bar one are Shires - they fit my two very well as they have plenty of room on the neck and chest.

Stable rugs - I have a mix of most manufactuers but I tend to go for cheaper ones as my two are only just finshing growing.
