Hi all, haven't been on line for ages as been in hospital having 4th new hip and pelvis rebuild, just got off crutches for that and have now broken my ankle!!!! not a horse in sight when I done it either. Anyway was wondering if anyone can help me with finding an extra wide rug (at the shoulder) for my cob as all his rugs pull tight across his chest and rub his shoulders, I am sure others must have the same problem but want to get him a decent one for the winter. Thanks

I can't say which rugs would havw the chest size that you need but this may assist you.....it attaches at the front of the rug & makes it bigger:

For turnout rugs have a look at the rambo xl if your horse is 6'3 or bigger. They are the only ones which are a perfect fit on my wide girl. She's had hers for 7 years now, and they are still almost as good as new, just very muddy

Weatherbeeta freestyle and Shires rugs are the other ones we've found that fit ok, but are still a bit tight round the shoulders.
