Can someone tell me what the rules are around innoculations for local shows etc?
Hovis has had the first two of his flu and tetanus jabs but not yet had the third.
We're supposed to be going to a local show (clear round and baby jumping) next week. Is this going to be a problem?
I assume I need to take his passport with me?

I only take her passport with me when I compete for the riding club as they are really strict on checking jabs ect.

I would have thought for a local show you should be ok and not need to produce it.

May be an idea to keep in the lorry, just in case!!

Do you not have to have the passport with you when transporting your horse anywhere anyway? Might be different in the UK but we do in Holland. Means you always make sure its on you and I'd have thought better safe than sorry. Rather take it with you and not need it than don't take it and then can't compete

That should be fine you can compete BE with first and second jab done and local shows don't even check usually. Legally your horses passport has to be where ever your horse is.

Not at all - there is no need to carry your Passport while out hacking.
