Rules on posting photos?

I have just been looking on the Internet at the photos of my pony at yesterday's show.

And have taken photos of the laptop to share with family and see if they would like to order any.

I would like to share a couple with you all ad I think they are lovely, but they obviously have copy right written on them.

Are they allowed to be put on a public forum, or do I have to wait to get my copies before doing it?

No, you can't post them on here and even if you do buy them you need the express permission of the photographer to be allowed to share them on sites like this or facebook - the copyright still remains with the photographer.

You can post links to them on the photographer's website though

How do I post a link ?

If they are on the photographer's website, find the first photo of you and just copy and paste the entire address onto here. Normally works but for some you will need to just give us the main web address and tell us how to get to your photos (event/competitor number etc)
