Going off your experiences of unaffiliated and BE eventing; how much acreage do you think is required to run a decent mid sized one day event- Minimum, in your personal opinion.

Including all the auxiliary buildings (stables, tents, etc), as well as of course enough space for the dressage and jumping areas. Not forgetting the largest space eater- The actual XC course.

Just doing some research and would be much obliged.

Ta very muchly.

Hi MHB,

We've been looking into setting up a new BE event and this guide was a really good first port of call. After reading that I got in touch with BE and was called by the regional director. We've since met up on site a few times and they couldn't have been more helpful. Am not very keyed up with forums so not sure if this link will work but try it...

BE new venue

Hope that helps,

kate
