My bichon frise has had loose stools since Monday night. Other than that, he's his usual bouncy self. No blood in them, he just can't seem to hold on once he gets the urge. I starved him for 24hrs then gave him half a slice of toast for each meal but its still the same.

Drinking normally, due worming soon but is still covered, any ideas? I have been suggested to try pasta which I have given him tonight, well overdone, so I will wait and see.

Personally if you have starved him with no improvement I would take him to the vet

Scrambled egg always really bungs H up though ;)

If no better I would take him to the vet too - but sometimes I find whilst starving sometimes does the trick, it is sometimes better to feed lightly as usual as it helps pass the bug through.

One of mine had really runny poo monday and tuesday and was off his food out of choice for 36 hours but then a couple of days of chicken carcasses to bind him and hes right as rain!!

Get well soon vibes for your little one!

Thanks guys, I'll see how he is overnight and give him scrambled eggs in the morning. If that fails ill take him to the vet. Thanks again for your advice :)
