ruta grav for tendon injuries

My horse is currently on 6 mnths box rest for a nasty tendon injury. A friend has told me about a homeopathic remedy called 'ruta.grav' which is supposed to be good for tendons. Has anyone used it and is so to what sucess?

Ruta & Rhus tox are very good for spraines & straines. If there is suppose to be any scaring then I would also give Silica very good for healing tendons & ligaments

I am using a ruta grav/rhus tox/arnica mix meant for ligaments and tendons from Crossgates farm. No idea if it works but i am trying anything!

Silicea can be brought either from Weleda Health or Equus Health, both do 30c potency. Weleda is available online however the Equus one you would have to find your nearest supplier.

Silicea is commonly used for abcesses but is very good for strengthing horn etc

Crossgates do the silica as well or silicea as it is also know.
