Am supposed to be going to RVRC Friends of Freddie ODE at Brightling Park this weekend... just wondered if anyone knows what the ground is like?! It'll obviously be hard because of the sunshine but does anyone who knows it better know how bad it will be?! Also feel sorry for my poor boy in the lorry in this heat!

Thank you :)

We are not going as ground too hard. It would have prepared for BE last weekend but after 000's of horses going over it for 2 days plus the weather this week I decided not to.

I had a long conversation with my vet this morning (who events at 4* level) he advised that he won't be going anywhere until we've had some rain so am heeding his advice.

They did aerovate it for the BE which did actually make the ground quite reasonable, so we did run our horse there and he didn't have any adverse effects fron the ground at all (in fancy he liked it so much he went too fast in the XC). Don't know how it will be now though after another week of hot sun.
