I've got a Yorkshire Traders opposite where I work and sometimes pop in for things for work. I was just wondering whether anyone has bought their clothing, and if its any good. Seems fairly reasonably priced.

My daughter has one of their fitted tweed jackets for shooting - she love it, says it is very warm, and it looks gorgeous!

I've bought a couple of fleeces from them and they are fine - would just say buy a size larger as they tend to shrink a bit in the wash (even at 40deg wash).

For what they cost, I'd say they were good value for money.

My daughter's had a couple of sweatshirts and body warmers and they've been fine. Their wellies only last about 3months until they get a split in them.

It's fine. not top quality but very good for the price. My wellies lasted a year and were under £10, and I have a windproof water resistant fleece which I am wearing every day at the moment, and has done the last couple of winters.

I agree. I bought a few hoodies from there and they were really nice, but when they were washed they shrunk.

I've got quite a lot of stuff from them, especially a couple of little tops with nice deep pockets which are brill for hacking out.

Bought a jacket from them years ago at a county show; only a fiver!!!! When it tiddles down with rain I really feel the benefit of it and its just kept on going time and time again. Fab!

Dunno what their joddies are like; never tried them.

I have had quite a few bits - they do come up a little small, I would say but haven't really had a problem with things shrinking. I really like the jodhs, actually. They seem to be just the right weight for sort of autumn and spring days when there's a bit of a chill, but not freezing - and right amount of stretch - think I might get some more! lol

I bought 3 sweatshirts at Badminton in May, they are worn and washed lots and still going strong. I'll definately be stocking up again next time I see a stand. All of mine are a size small, they are roomy and i'm a size 10/12.

Go shopping :D!

I've got tons of their tops, and a gilet which I love. Not noticed the tops shrinking, but the colour does 'bleed'.... I've got quite a few stripy tops, and the dark colour has run slightly into the lighter colour, so they look a bit grubby :o(

I've had some of them quite a few years though, and they are still fine for horseying. So reckon they're very good value.

Just mind the pockets, quite often they're not stitched properly.... get your needle and thread out and finish them off!!

Another thumbs up for Rydale - I've bought absolutely loads of their 'Joules' look a likey polo tops - I think these come up quite large, I always have a medium and am a size 12. Wash brilliantly and perfectly smart enough for everyday riding/yard work. They do tend to lose their shape though. Basically, they are cheap for a reason, but wear hard and look fairly smart too. Have fun shopping!!
