I bought a pair about a year ago. They are very very heavy to wear, although a male might not find that. They have sort of collapsed round my ankle as I have skinny ankles and unless i wear loads of pairs of socks in the winter then they are too big. I think they would fit a male better as the leg part is a little big for me, however they keep their colour and are very sturdy
we tried all the boots in the world on at Blair and for the same money you can get the Dubin ones, which are lighter, comfier and better made than the Rydale ones. And they are a much closer copy of the Dubarry.
I agree, although my rydale boots are not a year old yet I am going to buy a pair of dublin ones, I tried them on the other day end loved them, much better fit and so comfy
