Ryde adjustable stirrups

I have saddle fit and biomechanics colleagues who rate them highly. I've not used them but would consider stocking them, just concerned how many people can afford them of course!

Thank you. I can't really afford them but they look great ! I have previous major lower limb injuries with lots of metal work in one lower leg and it causes all sorts of issues with my foot balance in the stirrup and my lower leg position and stability, just wanted to hear some proper reviews rather than the ones on the sellers website etc !

The adjustability is great, but I would wonder that, if you could try a pair then you could work out what settings were best, and what cheaper stirrups would be closest to that. I think they'll be worth it for some, for those that don't need a mortgage for them, good and clever design costs money, but my favourite (and NOT suitable for everyone by far) safety stirrups are 1/3 price of those but barely known as they don't advertise (Safestyle).

Thank you. It is the adjustability that I need and they really are the only brand I can find that have the amount of adjustment. The only other types I can see adjust at the top, like to MDC ones.
I was hoping someone on here had experience with them but I guess they are just too expensive !

Hi, I don't post really but I have these stirrups so thought I would reply! I really like them, make riding more comfortable for me and the safety feature is good. They're simple to adjust and I prefer them to my previous sprengers.

Thank you for replying, and good to hear that you are happy with them !

They look seriously faffy… not sure I want to pay so much money to have to faff about so much. I’d need someone to fit them for me 😂

They could work for people with foot / ankle / knee problems, I guess. It's an interesting idea. Personally I don't like footbeds with spikes like that in stirrups. Afraid a soft-soled boot could get stuck in that. So that would be a dealbreaker anyway for me. Apart from the fact that I would not and could not pay 500 euros for a pair of stirrups.

The adjustability is great but unless you have a different set up for, say, flatwork and jumping you don't need them to be adjustable per se. These stirrups may allow you to find a cheaper stirrup that suits you, without trial and error. I would carry them in part for that reason as I think I could help way more people with them, during a ridden assessment, than just those that could afford them.
