Anyone had one?

We've found what we think is a nice jumping saddle (2nd hand one) but I can't find out how much they are new, it seems a nice saddle but it also seems quite expensive at £400, it looks old but in good condition! (Most of the other 2nd hand one of similar condition were £300 ish)

So just wondered if anyone knows prices so we can make the shop an offer!!

Ive had two, both Dressage and they were the most comfortable saddles. I bought mine new and it was £800 but they let me have it for £650. This was about 8 yrs ago. When I part exed it the saddler said it was a very good saddle with a wooden tree and he gave me £300 for it, which I was dissapointed at but it didnt fit my new horse. I bought the other off Ebay, took a chance but it didnt fit and I made on it by selling it in a 2nd hand part of a horse shop, i got £390 for it, it was new though. They are made in Walsall and Oakfield Saddlery used to sell them although I didnt buy mine from there. They have got a website so maybe they still sell them??

Thanks for all the info, I have looked on the website already and they don't seem to have prices... I thought it was a bit cheeky to call them and asl the 2nd hand prices!!

I'd ring and ask how much a new one was so you could use it as a comparison. Dont mention your after this 2nd hand one.
