Just bought a GORGEOUS sabre bridle after the "if money were no object" thread BUT...

The browband's too small.

Where can I order one from?

Thank you all!!!

Hi, I am just about to do the same as I had quite a bit of birthday money! can you tell me which model you bought & what you like about them. I am torn between Albion & Sabre!

Nice quality leather in both. Albions too chunky for my pony but still very nice. I love my sabre it never paticularly looks grubby and i rarely clean it...

I bought mine off ebay for about £35, it's basically brand new - it looks like it's never been near a horse.

However, I WAS saving up for an albion - I just couldn't resist at that price!

Things I like -

-The leather is very flexible but lovely & thick & durable

-The holes that are punched are big enough for the buckles to go in easily - sounds ridiculous but when you have a stroppy horse & you're fitting a bridle, it just makes life SO much easier.

-It's the dortmund snaffle, which I was worried would be too thick for my horsey's rather dishy face but because the leather's so supple it fits beautifully snugly next to the skin & doesn't look ridiculous.

It's the fourth bridle I've bought (I've only had my horse 6 months OH DEAR haha), and much nice than Jeffries and Stubben but I've never met an albion in the flesh so can't compare...

Just absolutely gorgeous, though.

When I buy another bridle (if, I should say :s but we all know that's not true), I'd buy another sabre.

many thanks for your opinion - its the Dortmund that I quite fancied as I have a horse with a common head so should brighten it up a bit! What a bargain you had.
