Hi,

This is my first post so please go easy on me if it's in the wrong place or anything else ;)

Here goes: I have somehow magically ended up with two right tendon boots, no left one to be found anywhere! (The boot fairy definitely hates me :( )

I was hoping somebody might have a bright idea about how i might go getting myself at least ONE left boot to make a pair?! I've tried contacting everybody i know to see if we've picked up one of each others boots but nothing, I've also checked ebay regularly to see if there's somebody selling a pair where the RH boot was kaput (to make a pair) but no such luck (although funnily there seems to be somebody else in my position...maybe I'm not such a numpty!).

This morning I even contacted sabre to see if they ever have any odd ones laying about from a returned pair or samples etc etc ... again no such luck :( Should i just accept defeat and consign them to the bin? Keeping odd boots for spares when i have none that even vaguely match seems a bit silly...I guess i could always buy a new pair ... but i have two halves of a pair already and they're quite £££ to go buying new ones

Any advice welcome! Thank you :)

Not those ones, but they did make me feel marginally better :) I have numerous odd neoprene type ones (they collect I've found...like odd socks) but I literally do not have a clue how I've managed it with nice boots! :(

Those two on eBay were mine :( sadly I have searched high and low for a matching boot for about a year! cut your losses sell them to someone who thinks they have a great buy! and buy another pair off eBay!

Ergh, how upsetting. The sabre lady clearly thought I was crackers too. There should be a thread somewhere for odds and sods to swap/give away for those numpties amongst us who always end up with something missing. (There may be one already...I haven't looked, I'm claiming this idea as my own for the next 5 minutes :)

I think I'll donate them to my local tack shop, there may be somebody out there with a left boot who doesn't mind having a completely odd pair of boots for training in.
