Sad News about Stacy Westfall's Mare :(

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of this incredible Whizzards Baby Doll and her foal.

I remember watching this video a few years ago and thinking that this is what happens when you do everything right. Superb riding, incredible horse, and the exact right music to match.

What an inspiration and a really once-in-a-lifetime performance. I've watched this countless times and it still brings tears to my eyes.

aww I see she got cast in her stall while in foal and damaged herself, later needing euthanasia

She was apparently cast in her stall overnight and suffered severe injuries. They took her a vet hospital and everyone did their best, but she was too severely injured to be saved. She was in foal and 10 months along. Sadly, they tried, but couldn't save the baby. The whole thing is such a sad story, but what a special mare that was. She will be fondly remembered by so many people around the world.

It's very sad, she was extremely special. I remember her opening ceremony performance at WEG Kentucky, something else. Reminds you that you have to make the most of them everyday
