Sad state of affairs when.....

My little dog Dennis is a nightmare for following you, you never notice hes in the toilet till you sit down to have a pee & there he is looking up at you lol, & if its not him its the cat!

Oh I love it, I'm not the only one...............
Thought it was getting a bit weird, seroiusly, if it's not the kids, it's the animals!!lol!!!

Looking at me I wouldn't mind - but my JR cross won't even let me get seated comfortably before he's on my lap and smooching! (He knows it's about the only time he CAN get on my lap!)

Yeah our dog likes to just stand at the door of the loo and just watch as he refuses to go in the bathroom out of principle, if its down stairs though he sees it as a good excuse for a cuddle !!

We have the dogs and the cat but as there are 4 silkie hens living p/t in the downstairs loo I am always guaranteed an audience!! Mind you, I still have the kids doing it too and to be able to take a bath without someone coming in, either human or animal, would be a luxury!

I have three dogs constantly following me around the house, up and down the stairs , loo and everywhere!! Two sleep on the bed but you end up with a dog on your head in the night and kicked by the other dog! The third is senile very old and never settles luckily he cant make it upstairs! Love them all though if i go out for 5 mins its like ive been gone a week by thier reaction when i return!!

Harvey does this too! You have to keep the door slightly open or he starts to scratch at the door then stick his head round haha. I think i am quite glad he is small, wouldn't put up with a large dog following me to the loo haha

see and who ever thought cats and dogs are stupid.........they know when you are on the loo they have your undivided attention as you are a sitting duck so to speak!!!

I totally sympathise with your situation! My border collie Billy follows me everywhere and sleeps by the door when I'm having a shower, it's totally normal...to me anyway!:p

soooo glad its not just me! I'm normally joined by both my dogs now, occasionally the cat too. When i have a bath i tend to have an audience, both dogs come in and lie on the bathmat while the cat sits behind me on the shelf at the end of the bath. Millie dog used to occasionally join me in the bath too - my bathroom is downstairs off the utility room & kitchen, she used to take a run up from the kitchen and launch herself into the bath, normally ending up with her stuck on the edge front paws in, back ones dangling outside the bath - if she made it into the water (normally head first i had to then have a shower as she normally smelt of stale muck heap and the water would go a muddy brown colour!!

My old cat used 2 only drink from the bath so very often you'd sit down and find her staring at you waiting for u 2 give her some water used 2 give me shock
