Sad story on the news tonight

Oh my goodness, how incredibly sad. Without wanting to trivialise the soldier's death, its like one of those old movies when the devoted pet pines til the end. What an amazing partnership they must have been. RIP both of them, hope they are together still.
 
Very sad:(. The original story (news) reported that the dog was shot with the handler, then the newspapers said her had a seizure:confused:
Either way is heartbreaking for both, my thoughts with the soldiers family.

I read this on the defence intranet yesterday. I have to admit to crying. It hits me hard everytime a soldier is killed, but this one put me over the edge. It would be lovely for them to be buried together.
 
It was first reported yesterday in the Daily Fail and I think a few people asked what would happen to the dog.

Today the DF I mean DM reposted it saying that Theo indeed would be repatriated with LC Liam Tasker.

May they both rest in peace.
