We lost my daughters last pony this weekend, he made it to 30 years and we owned him for 21 of those years. The yard and field feels so strange without him.
so sorry for your loss, rip little ponyWe lost my daughters last pony this weekend, he made it to 30 years and we owned him for 21 of those years. The yard and field feels so strange without him.
Thank you, he was my daughters 14.2 who always was challenging both to ride and in his health, fractured pedal bone, locking stifle, and later in life a paralysed larynx and cushings with its associated issues! but he always sparkled and taught my daughter such a lot as he was not the most genuine chap to ride but we loved him dearly with all his quirks and inspite of his high maintenance. I’m surprised I feel so emotional about him as we have lost several over the years as always keep our oldies in retirement with the inevitable end decisions.Very sorry for your loss, I am sure things are very strange without him after such a long time. Do tell us more about him if it helps x

Oh goodness, that is so sad for you to lose two so close together, it is so hard when they go, so sorry for your lossVery sorry. We lost my best friend's ID on Sunday to colic - he would have been 30 in May - and he has also left a huge hole in the yard and our hearts. It was just ten weeks since we lost my horse to the same thing so a very sad day for all of us.
