I've very recently purchased two new saddles for my 5yo, WB, gelding. One of which is a new Kieffer Norbert Koof AT jump saddle in black. It's beautiful, fits him perfectly, and is really good for my position. However, I have purchased it from a local saddler who mainly deals in second hand tack and it has therefore been transported around to several other yards for fittings and is slightly scuffed/marked at the front of the knee rolls and on the cantle. The saddle was priced at £1000 which I personally feel is ALOT of money and wasn't planning on spending anywhere near that amount but I fell in love with it! I am now though slightly worried that I have overpaid for a new saddle which is slightly damaged. I may be being completely paranoid as I am fully aware that saddles only remain in factory condition for a limited time period but...have I overpaid?
