Hi all and thanks for reading.

Just wondered if anyone could give me any saddle advise.
I am trying to get a sadlle to fit my chunky cob. She currently has an 18 extra wide but it doesnt seem to look right. Looks like it dips at the back and high at the front.
I was wondering if anyone recommended the Wintec 500 wide for cobs?

Thanks in advance x

In my experience the thorowgood tree is better for cobs as its a bit flatter.
I tried both on my cob, didn't like the wintec on him at all, and my saddler agreed, so went for the thorowgood T4 GP as he has a wither. Didn't get on with it though as it was too forward cut for his big shoulders so have just changed it for the dressage version which is fab on him (don't really jump these days, so its fine lol).
The thorowgood (or kent and masters if you want the leather version) cob saddle might suit, if your cob is the rounder type, its straighter cut than the GP so better for a bigger shoulder.

Hippocob loves his Solution Native saddle.

Have tried a fair few others, but glad we decided to try the Solution one. Worth a read about at least.

Good luck!
