saddle at saddlers - what can i do with my horse?

my saddle has just been whisked away by the saddler and i dont have another one boo hoo

so ...... any ideas of what i can do with my mare for a bit to keep her up together till i get it back?

barebacks brilliant, but if your horse is like one of mine theres no way i would do it for longer than 5 minutes

(hes extremely bouncy, and no matter how much weight he has on him always has a really bony spine!) so you could do in hand work such as lungeing and long-reining, long-reinings great fun in my opinion

You need a long stick and a ball apparently. Put the stick in the ground and train your horse to kick the ball at it until its aim is soooooo good the stick breaks! Then contact the England manager.....

Tip for bareback - don't ever ever use Showsheen.
When I worked in yards we used to ride bareback....but first would sneak round spraying everyone else's horse to a slippery sheen....
