Horse needs saddle check as changed shap but due some physio/ body working/ massage too so just wondering which would be bext first ? I am thinking saddle check (might need gullet changing) and then some nice body tlc ?

How long would you wait after saddle checking to have some physio etc ?

Depends on how quickly you can get saddler out. Asap and no riding in saddle if you expect it doesn't fit. Physio needs to not be a few days before saddler if horse gets sore, so I'd with get them out just after saddler if the latter can come quickly, or before if it will take a little while.

You could do it either way round but If you do physio first, I wouldn't ride in between as you risk undoing the good the physio might have done if the saddle is causing an issue. As mariew says too, leave a gap of a good few days between physio and saddler if you do it that way round so you don't have any of the after effects of the physio giving a false impression of the saddle. The other way round wouldn't need any gaps so might be more logical if you want to get it all done quickly.

My horses have a physio who is also a saddle fitter - she assesses and does whatever is appropriate, either over a couple of visits or in one visit, This is in SE, but she's probably not the only one

Bodyworker first, many many saddle issues come first from the horse, then the saddle needs to be tweaked, or not, to fit again. If I go out to a crooked horse and somehow make the saddle stay straight, if that's the issue, then it may all go south once the horse is fixed.

Don't ride in the saddle, depending on what the issue is maybe do groundwork (thoracic sling lifting type), have the bodyworker first and saddle next. Ideally you want to get the back into peachy condition before refitting the saddle but barely anyone does that so be prepared for more than one saddle fitter visit in some cases.
