Saddle check?

Would you think it strange if you took your horse and saddle to be checked for the fit and paid £30. Then it was sent away but not checked on your horse when you collected and paid another £70. Not tried it on yet as been ill since collecting it.

Presumably the call out is £30 and the adjustment work is £70, though I take the whole lot up front as would most saddle fitters. I try and flock onsite and certainly do tree adjustments on site as they don't take long, and I nearly always see the saddle in action afterwards. I do carry out a few very standard flock adjustments and if time is pressing I may not see the horse ridden afterwards but I make sure the customer knows what to check when they DO ride, and to call me if there is ANY problem at all.
