I have a lovley saddle that i bought second hand. i take very good care of it - never get it wet, clean it regually and condtion the leather. dont put it on floor ect ect. however the front knee panels heve begun to look 'faded' in colour. sort of like they are scuffed (they arent) - they come up good when cleaned but soon go back to the faded look.
has anyone any ideas how to restore the leather please
many thanks x

What colour is it? I have a similar problem with my saddle & my local tack shop recommended Neatsfoot Oil. My saddle is Havanna.

I haven't got my backside into gear and treated it yet so I can't tell you how successful it is!

If its black Kieffer do a black saddle treatment which restored the colour in a faded black saddle that I had. It took several applications but gradually the colour improved.
