Hi all,

Looking to get some more saddlecloths as my lovely embroided shires ones faded after the first wash :'(

Can anyone reccomend me some that wash well and come in plain colours? (Need a white one and maybe a nice colour)

Also, looking for a Sheepskin half pad, have been told Le Mieux ones are the best and whilst looking at them in the tack shop the other day they feel lovely! Does anyone have one? Would you reccomend them or have a better/cheaper alternative?

Tah Muchly :D

I have lots of customers with LeMieux pads and some have had problems. I only stock Mattes as they seem to have by far the best consistency of quality and are lovely sturdy sheepskin pads that last for years and years, Always made from one piece of sheepskin, never bits sewn together.. They have quite a range of colours, though be aware that pure cotton can fade over time.

I can highly recommend the HKM saddleclothes- I have a few and the bandages and I wash them everytime I ride and after lots of washes still look good :) I have a bartle half pad- again washes up very well(I dont wash this everytime i ride though!) Ebay do the saddleclothes reasonably priced- you can get the sets for about £32 :)
