Saddle company saddle for narrow horse?

Look for an older English made saddle ars these were often on a narrower tree & can be found very reasonably priced.

I personally woldnt go for an old saddle - they are often built on trees that are too curved and tiny panels. Instead of thinking "narrow" you should be think about the back conformation - i.e. high wither/no wither, shoulder? flat back curved back. Certain types of saddles suit some breeds better than others.

Also, I have found that most horses will be a medium - if it is a narrow, then it has muscle wastage. However, i have qualify that by saying that each make of saddle will have different sizes so a medium in one might be a narrow in another.

I believe he is currently a medium narrow but he's only young so not really built any muscle yet.

I just can't find a good second hand saddle company one and I'm not sure whether I should opt fr leather knowing I have to replace it each time he changes.
