Just got one for my lad, it`ll take me a while to adjust as i`ve ridden treeless for 5+ years :D

Who has one, what horse is it on, and how do you rate it? Thanks

Ive just ridden in one for the first time! Good timing.
We have actually had it a while but its my daughters and her ponies. She's liked it since day one and pony has gone happily in it (he's a very sensitive sort). Her only ever complaint has been the knee rolls were a bit solid!
So today ive ridden the naughty little horse and I have to say even though im not really riding fit anymore and have hacked for a hour and a half, I found it perfectly comfy. The knee rolls are a little hard but maybe that's because its still fairly new? The seat is very soft. I found it felt quite secure when he played up- unlike his old Thorowgood which was down right scary trying to hang onto!
I liked the fitter who came and adjusted it, I bought it second hand but unused off a private seller.
Id buy another, I think the horse has been wearing it long enough to show up any issues he has and so far so good.

I love mine. Its the 5th saddle I have had for my boy and this one fits him like a glove. It took a few rides to get used too as it is much smaller than the Wintec Wide I had before. I went for a working hunter as pony has big shoulders and its great.

It looks really smart, cleans up nice and is very comfy to ride in. Id recommend them.

I had one, lasted a week before all the leather wore away where the stirrups go and stitching came undone around the pommel area. I even had calfskin stirrup leathers on it to help prevent wear! I liked the idea of the serge panels etc but the amount of wear was ridiculous.

A new one? Did they replace it/ refund you???

I have one, owned it for over a year now. I have the leather-covered synthetic Event saddle, with the swede seat, for my 17hh, high-withered and short coupled TB - was a nightmare to find a saddle to fit him, and this one does so well!!!

I've found the swede especially was worn really well, still looks great (and I don't look after my tack - it's probably been cleaned three times in a year), and the leather is lovely. It was ridden in 6 days a week for the first 9 months(I now a a DR so alternate), in snow, rain and hail and yet looks fab.

Fit is great, dead easy to adjust both with flock or the tree adjustments. I will say mine isn't the comfiest saddle for me, I love it for jumping, but for long distance hacking with my long-striding horse it does need an extra pair of knickers on to stay comfy... I also love the knee rolls on it.

Mine wasn't even brand new when I got it. It was an ex-demo saddle belonging to my saddler, got it for £400 barely used but not brand new. When I bother to clean it, it looks very smart - my SJ instructor has commented a few times on my lovely saddle, especially as I have one with purple trim, so it matches my horse's colours... get a lot of compliments!

I have the dressage version - it fits my boy really well, the only thing is the leather is a bit squeaky, do you know what I mean? no matter what boots I wear it makes a noise! Apart from that they are good value for money, I would have another :)

I've had my Vincenzia VSD cut Saddle Company saddle for 4 months now, so it's still early days on how well it will wear, and how it will fit my horse long term, but so far I'm very pleased with it.

My horse shows no objections to it, either when being tacked up or when ridden, and he's not backwards in coming forwards when he doesn't like something! He started with quite a lot of muscle wastage along his back, but having taken a template of his back in August and again just a couple of days ago, he's muscled up quite significantly.

I was also very happy with the fitter I had and had confidence in her, which makes a huge difference when buying/ having any saddle fitted.

.

Totally agree with this. My lad started out a typical ex-racer with no top line at all, and a year later his top line is great and people mistake him for a WB when out... has made a huge difference with his muscle development.

I have a working hunter & a starter saddle wouldn't be without them ! the starter saddle is so comfy & both a feather light. Could recommend them enough

I had one made for a Clydesdale mare and then had it altered to fit an ID I particularly like the serge panels and the horses seem to do so too. It is very light, which is always a bonus.

Have owned my Working Hunter Saddle Company Saddle for the last 6 years, i agree with all of the comments above.

I also use on my long-striding IDx, fits him perfect, he never objects to it and it still looks good after 6 years.

Thank you all, brilliant reviews there :) I`m hoping this will work for us both then, he can be a bit "sensitive" and certainly isn't backwards in coming forwards when something doesn`t meet with his approval lol.
