Hi all, I am currently looking into getting a semiflex saddle, but have a few questions.....does any one have one, do you know how long they take to order, are there any other similar type saddles available that I could look into?????!
Basically I have a 4yr old KWPN warmblood that seems to change shape every 2 weeks at the mo, he's obviously going to grow for a few more years yet (although hopefully not at his current rate!!!) and having owned him for only 2 months I've already had his saddled altered once and it now doesnt fit him again (as in..it really doesn't fit him!) I dont want to keep paying for a £450 second hand saddle to be changed every month (plus physio costs, etc) if something like a semiflex will last him for a long time. I really don't mind spending the money as within a few years it will have paid for itself and I'll have a happy horse (I hope!)

Is a semi flex likely to last with an ever growing warmblood?!!
(I bought him hopeing he wouldn't go over 16h as I'm only small, but I think he's going to be a big boy!!......*rushes for the step ladders*.....)

Thanks for your comments guys....

Have you thought about a WOW? Check the website if not. You would never have to buy another saddle for him again, just change a headplate and put more or less air in the airbags.

Bad news is that your KWPN is likely to grow until he is eight. Mine looks absolutely nothing like the 4 year old I bought!

Ditto the WOW. Don't know enough about semiflex saddles to comment on them.

If you get the right panel type (very important - there's various different types!) you shouldn't need another saddle. Seat and flaps are a personal choice.

I had a WOW a couple of years ago and LOVED it. Currently trying to save pennies to buy another. Two.
