My coblet has been in a Wintec Wide and it has done him fine so far, but now he is 6 & his shape is more stable & I have started doing a bit of jumping I feel it's time to upgrade. I suspect that either a Native Pony or Ideal H&C saddle would be the best bet but can't find somebody who fits both or he might need something totally different. So which do I get out? Any advice? Or, ideally, does anybody know anybody who fits both in my area - I'm on the Beds/Northants border.

MiJods - thanks I might contact them tomorrow.

Dianchi - my problem is that I can't find a fitter who does both the types of saddle I think might suit & I would rather not have 2 fitters out & then try to decide which is giving me the best advice.

I'm afraid you won't find anyone who fits both, we at Native Pony use dedicated fitters, we have our own special fitting techniques :).

The company that MJR2BT used makes saddles that they brand Native Pony but they are not the same. If you search a little online you will see the difference in the two companies and the people that run them and design the saddles. I cover Bedfordshire for Native Pony & Cob Saddles which is run by the lady who bought the company originally and has designed the saddles for the last 10 years. I'd would be more than happy to talk to you about our saddles
