What do i do, i had my saddle checked and re-flocked a couple months back, pony shouldn't have changed shape since or lost/put on weight (there is nothing noticeable) , the saddle has been rising up and down (at the back of the saddle, the seat?) when i trot,i can feel it a lot, but when i had it checked everything was fine and it fitted. Should it do this? Is there any half pads that could help?

She doesn't misbehave when ridden, although she will not (and i mean will not unless someone else is holding her firmly) let me get on her without her backing up, or walking forwards, she also fidgets a lot when i put the saddle on and do the girth up. It is a thorowgood t4 and was fitted professionally. It also tips forward off her back when we jump. But im sure that if we get it checked again, the money will be wasted to be told that it fits her!

Sounds like its pivoting on the points of the tree so tipping forward and backwards :( Not nice for the pony. The pony may have put on or lost muscle/fat its probably also grown a winter coat etc.... They all change shape all the time.

Dont think Id be happy just bunging a pad under it. But then again I prefer leather/soft treed saddles :D

Its a thorowgood t4 synthetic saddle, she doesnt misbehave when ridden, i really don't know what to do!

If you had it reflocked a couple of months ago, then most likely the new flock had settled and its sitting low at the front and therefore lifting at the back. (Hopefully). This is common and with a reflock. Your saddler should offer a revisit to make adjustments for such happening. Maybe give them a call?

As Baileyhoss has said, assuming the fit is good that is.
When I have flocked up saddles on site I always arrange at no extra costs to the owner for a return visit by myself (about 10-14 days later) to check it again and top up the flock as necessary.
The weight of the rider expels alot of air from the flock, the saddle will sink down again, 90% of flocked saddles will need a little more added within a short space of time after the initial flock up.
