saddle experience

I need a pony saddle on a budget. Have found the gfs genesis pony and the thorowgood t4 pony. Does anyone have any experiences of these? It's for a 12.2 hh welsh b type, grey in colour so also would brown or black be best?

I would choose the gfs. I've never got on with thorowgoods. Gfs genesis is almost the same style as a wintec but much more quality. I'd choose black for a grey.
