had 3 saddlers out all say my saddle fits fine, so why does it slip? when i come back from riding, i take the saddle of and there are marks one on his spine and the other on his left side... if it fits so well why does it move so much..?

Is it always moving the same way? Could be the way you are sitting, especially if your horse is a cob type with a flatter back. If you get someone to have a look at you from the ground when you ride they should be able to tell you if you're sitting central or not. You might want to have your horses back checked as well - some horses have larger muscles on one side of their back and/or shoulders which could cause it to shift. A decent saddler probably should have noticed the latter and fitted accordingly but could be worth checking? Hope you get to the bottom of it.
