Anyone fancy offering me some advice?

I had a saddle fitter / back therapist (doesnt sell saddles so no investment in sayng if saddles good or bad) out at the weekend to check my boys as I was not happy with the service provided by a local saddle fitter.

2nd opinion found:

New saddle (3 weeks old, had 2 fittings as I was convinced it was no good) - panels are uneven, saddle is wonky and needs to be returned

Old saddle (12 mths old, had flocking done few months back by same saddler) - wrong flocking was used, panels on one side are lumpy and in places have holes .

2 other saddles on same yard fitted by same saddle in last month have similar issues. None of the horses can be ridden at the mo until issues have been resolved which in the case of my boy could be a while :(

What would you do?

I would go back to the saddler and explain the situation that your and other liveries are un-happy. Give the saddler the option to repair the problem. If they are unwilling then you could look to discuss with master saddlers if they are registered or BETA.

Other than the above Im not sure what else you can do but learn and never use the saddler again.

Cheers. I'm waiting to hear back from the saddle fitter....I've also contacted the saddle manufacturer as need to get saddle replaced / refunded as I can't afford to lose the money I've spent and 2nd opinion saddler thinks that if the saddle was made properly it will suit my boy well (its a well know make).

Were both the saddles fitted by the same person? Is the fitter a member of the Society of Master Saddlers - if so, you can ask for a 2nd opinion from them and if they uphold that the saddles don't fit you may have a case to get a refund from the saddler.

The saddle fitter/back therapist what type of saddle did they recommend if any? I agree that actually a saddle fitter should have a very very good idea about backs and have never understood why the arent tied in with back specialists.

saddle fitter / back therapist reckons that if the T4 had two level / same shaped / samed size panels that it would be a good fit for my boy at present :)

I've spoken to thorowgood who've said saddle needs returning via sadle fitter.

I know someone in the East Yorkshire area who had a nightmare with a T4 saddle, fitted by a so-called saddle fitter (I'm pretty sure they were actually from Thoroughgood). It gave her horse a very sore back, and she got rid of the saddle in the end. Can't remember if she got any recompense for it all, but she was shouting litigation at the top of her (very loud) voice.
