Had my saddle fitted originally in Oct 2011 by bridlepath Intenational and have been told this week by back lady that its ill fitting grrrrrr (probably to do with boy changing shape tho). Shes advised i do not ride until its fixed!!!!

Pls recommend me a saddle fitter! As i have tried a couple and booked up to mid May.... i cant cope not riding for that long!!!

Toni at TC feeds near Dunstable is very good and a lovely person - was really good with my saddle shy boy - all the time in the world and really wanted to make sure everything just right. Even let me try the saddle for a week to make sure 100% right. Would not hesitate to recommend her. Not sure how far she travels but I know people box to her for fittings too.

go back to bridlepath and ask them to come back to check the saddle and tell them what the back person said. Bridlepath are normally very good and should correct any mistakes.

However, if you want a brilliant saddler then Poppy Webber (her website is .co.uk) should cover your area. Not only is she a saddle company fitter, she also has a lot of second hand saddles, not just SC ones. She is also a Bowen Therapist so she will tell you if there are problems with the horse's back or body if there is anything there. She has done wonders for 3 of my horses.
