Saddle fitter - Redhill/East Grinstead/Lingfield area

Hi all

I need to get Bella's saddle checked but am new to the area where she now is. I tried the yard recommended saddle fitter but he cannot come out until mid-April and I am pretty sure her saddle is pinching a little. Can anyone recommend me a decent saddler in the area? If they are one who can flock onsite even better

Yard is in Lingfield but close to Redhill and the number I had been given was from East Grinstead. Was trying to cover many bases.

Try Ted in Woldingham, he'll come out to you for about £20. Just being nosy where about are you as this is my stomping ground!

You can try Helen Dart at Bookham Saddlery, I believe they have a mobile van and so she could flock it on site. 01372 450555 She was the saddler in the recent article in the H&H. ‎

Sanolly - could you PM me his number? I am at Quarry Farm Stables - its lovely only been there 2.5 weeks. Apparently we're a 15min hack from Felbridge show ground. Just getting to know the area - only just able to get to yard without SatNav - am from Kent but had been living in Chertsey until the end of January - just moved in with OH and trying to find my way around.

ted at woldingham is good,
so is saddlery and gunroom at biggin hill.
you also have penfolds, that's who i got my saddle from and was v v helpful,
only thing is penfolds is also very busy so you might have to wait for him, but worth it......

I ditto Martin at Penfolds, He is fab but has a 4-5 week waiting list. He flocks on site as well.
Saddlery and Gun Room you have to take your horse to them they don't do visits.
Ted at Woldingham or Karen ay Chaskits.

Martin's always my first choice though!

Thanks everyone!! Will give them all a try and see who can come out. My YO has kindly said that I can borrow her treeless saddle until I get it sorted as she had a funny sweat patch on Sunday we're sure was caused by the saddle...
