I have noticed my saddle has become a little big on Red, i think it needs re flocking. At the moment i am using a numnah and a half wool pad on him with it.

My question is would you get it fitted now considering he is likely to drop a little more in the winter and put it back on in summer?

Or would you wait until spring.

He doesnt seem uncomfortable but i have noticed he is dropping a bit more topline than i would like, not sure if its the saddle or not. Ridden work is OK and no pain etc

Any ideas?

xx

I personaly would have it re-flocked now. If you have noticed it then Im sure red would have noticed it too. Come the summer it would probably have flattened down at bit more after having it done, summer is a long way off

i agree get it done now and then again later if needed surely its better to do it before a problem occurs with his back which i'm sure you don't want
