Saddle fittings for a TB

The fitter measured Ty up today and said that he's a MW - how the hell can a TB be that wide? apparently he's got big shoulders even though the rest of him is more TB like.

Me thinks he has a touch of ID in him (or camel)!!!
 
My tb gelding is a wide, he's very wide across his shoulders too

pain in the a$$ trying to find a saddle that will fit him comfortably.
 
weird isn't it - I'd always think that a wm would be wider than a TB....I suppose a WMs built to be stronger in the arse and a TB in the shoulder......

Anyways, just managed to get a brand new Barnsby GP, Barnsby comfort Bridle and running martingale for £750!!
 
My boy whilst being fairly substantial for a TB is by no means wide to sit on, yet his Albion SLK is a medium wide. Must be because of the shoulders, as already suggested
