Saddle for a chunky pony with no withers

Im looking for a suitable saddle to fit our chunkymonkey Section D x Exmoor who has a long back and no withers AT ALL. We've figured out that she needs a flat style saddle with a small gullet. Can anyone suggest which make would be good value for money? Any styles which would be best for her? thanks!

The Thorowgood T6 Cob is the widest saddle ever! Starts at a 17" seat though, I bought one but it was too big, my pony's now in a 15"!
 
The issue im having is that no saddle other than flat type ones will sit on her back, they rise at the back and slip forwards. I looked at the T6 and the type of saddle looks perfect but unfortunately a 17" would be far too long for her, shes more suited to a 16"

My connie has a falcon hawk event. Saddler calls him a rolly poly pony hardly any wither and a flat back (but dead comfy bareback). But he also said they are the hardest to fit as high withers can be used to secure the saddle and none means there's nothing to keep it in place.

ETA I picked mine up second hand for a very reasonable price

i had the same problem but my pony was even smaller in the back. i tried numerous saddles on him and had 2 saddle fitters out but unless i got one specially made nothing was going to fit. in the end i went for a treeless one and he goes nicely in it.

i could find ones that fitted length but not width or vice versa.
 
The saddle company Cob square cantle, has point and balance straps to stop it slipping forward (or backward) and forgive me if I'm wrong but I think under 16" ones are cheaper as they are the 'Pony' range :)
 
Riding high, what treeless do you use? im having the same problem as OP and seriously starting to consider treeless, i have been riding mine in the enlightened equitation phoenix which is v comfy and doesnt budge an inch but horse had a lump by girth the other day and im wondering if it was due to the girth straps being so long and dressage girth so short? (cant start chopping it up as it belongs to a friend!)
I dont really want to take a chance on another without hearing other peoples opinions! it would be for a 14.22 welsh cob who has massive shoulders and not a lot of whither.
