Saddle/ full clip

I was thinking about this while mucking out this morning. At the start of the winter I full clip Hattie then just blanket clip her after that. I check her saddle everytime I ride her. And didn't notice it was loose on her, but would having a couple of inches of hair off change the fit of a saddle for a few weeks til it grew back?

Must admit, whilst Patches has had a blanket clip all winter so far, so saddle fit itself hasn't altered, her girth certainly does up tighter than it did.

Same with her knee boots. After I clipped out her legs I had to tighten the straps as they fell down. So it's certainly a possibility!

Thats what I thought. Maybe I should use a extra nummah next time I full clip her then? Which may be Feb time or winter 2008 depending on the weather. Don't want to get the saddle altered just for a few weeks to have to get it changed back again.
