Ive just brought a new horse and ive had a bates saddle waiting for a horse it has a changeable guilt system and I was just wondering how much it's going to cost me to have it fitted to my new horse and if any one knows who can do it in the Nottingham area, thank you Amiee

Costs vary quite a lot, plus of course call out depending on how far the fitter is from you. Two things - there is a chance that the saddle you have bought will not be able to be fitted to your horse:

Just because a saddle has a changeable headplate does not mean it will fit a given horse, or that any horse can always be found a saddle of that type to fit.

I would then repost on here asking for saddle fitter recommendations, including your area in the title, then local people can chime in with suggestions :)

I agree with the above advice! All saddles are cut, shaped and flocked differently, so despite changing the gullet to the appropriate width, your saddle may not fit your horse. Sorry!
