I have an Ideal Grandee (2005) saddle but im looking for more info about it really, im guessing a GP/Slight forward cut saddle flaps but i literally cannot for the life of me find another 'Grandee' that has suede seat & knee rolls and the rest leather and ive done alot of research typed in all sorts, it's driving me potty lol ?

I had emailed Ideal themselves but all they could tell me was its definitely a Grandee and it was made on week 39 (September) in 2005 and that literally was it ?

Theres a code on the stirrup barr, i dont even know the width as it has either worn or doesn't say, i do recon its either a medium or Medium/wide

Photos below ( sorry couldn't upload all that i wanted, it wouldnt let me)

What info are you looking for about it?

Stirlingshire saddle rebadged Ideals and there were Grandee models in their "brand". If you're looking for another that could be another route to try

You know all there is to know really. Ideal saddles are made to order in almost all cases so someone has simply ordered one with suede. And let's put paid to thinking the stamp on the stirrup bar means anything other than it's made to a British standard (ie the BS bit). It is nothing to do with the saddle itself, despite what you might read :).

Many years ago I had a new Ideal GP saddle and chose buffalo leather as an option but mine was branded as a Martin Wilkinson saddle.
